Helps you find a burial place and order funeral services

About project

Memorial is service, where ordinary people could order grave care services, and ritual service providers could receive such orders and earn money. The project was commissioned by the regional Ministry of Digitalisation.

Scenarios

Compiled basic scenarios for three types of users: customer, performer and moderator. Below is a scenario for ordering services.

Prototypes

After defining the functional requirements in the documentation, a prototype of the future solution was drawn up.

During the development of the user interface, I created more than 180 components with different states.

Ordering services
Search for burial
To order services, you first need to find a burial place. You can search by one or more criteria.
Search Results
You can expand the number of options by removing one of the criteria in the results.
Burial place
The burial card shows the years of the deceased's life and the coordinates of the burial. You can bookmark the questionnaire, share a link, or print it out as a pdf.
Biography
You can add a biography of the deceased and his photographs to the burial card.
The Memory Wall
There is a wall of memories on the burial page. Users can lay virtual flowers and leave memorable words.
Service order form
You can order funeral services for each burial.  Services can be selected from the list and, if desired, supplemented with a detailed description. You can select a specific performer or place an order on the order board for all performers.
Choice of performer
By clicking on the ‘View profile’ button, the user will see a modal window with the artist's profile. You can view the rating, read reviews and see examples of work.
Creating a request
After filling out the application form and selecting an executor, you can submit an application. It will be displayed in the user's personal cabinet. As soon as the executor accepts the proposal, it will go to work.

If someone has responded to the application, it becomes available to select a performer.

The executor's suggestions on the order are placed in a modal window. You can contact the artist directly to clarify any questions.

If everything is satisfactory, you need to confirm your choice. This window also contains detailed information about the performer, reviews, statistics, examples of work.
Personal cabinet of the executor

Requests are available in the personal cabinet of the executor. Depending on their status they are divided into 4 tabs

In the modal window you can view details, timeline, budget, location, burial geo-position and print the application form.

The executor gives his response to the application. If the customer is satisfied, the application is assigned to this contractor.
Awards

The memorial service is an integral part of the cemetery inventory project. In November 2022, the service won first place in the Best Municipal Practice 2022 competition, receiving a grant of RUB 20 million from the Russian Ministry of Construction.
